I can’t believe it is nearly Easter, and as I have had so much on during the last couple of months, I have barely given it a thought. However, I like this time of year as you get a few days off of work and spend time with your family and it is just good vibes all around.
One thing I feel like I struggle with a lot is getting gifts for people, I don’t think you should go super crazy during this ‘holiday’, and I am all about budget-friendly options (I see some gift guides, and they are just too unachievable). I personally love giving thoughtful gifts which have had some thought put into it, instead of seeing how much I can spend. So, if you are stuck for some ideas, take a look at some my favourites below!
I love anything I can personalise, and when it comes to gifts, I think it looks nice and like you have put a lot of thought into it. Vanilla Reindeer have a great range of personalised Easter gifts from gift bags to Easter eggs which I just love. I picked an egg and a gift bag, which was personalised for my boyfriend (check out the cute picture of us). The website is easy to use, and it came super quick which is always a bonus! The large egg was £14.99, and the medium gift bag was only £8.99, which in my eyes is a steal! If you want to bag yourself a cute gift, just use EGG30PR for 30% off!

If you know me, you will know that I am completely obsessed with this handmade jewellery, and not just because she is a close friend of mine. It is so important to support a local business, and especially as I know the time, energy and love, she puts into each piece she creates. I have a few of her pieces already, and I think they make the perfect gift for any occasion! By Imogen Rose, handmakes 100% of her jewellery and you can really tell that she was but her all into each every item she sells and her creativity and passion is what makes this business so successful!
During any gift giving occasion, I love to put together a hamper of that person’s favourite things. This can be an inexpensive way to treat your nearest and dearest, and it can show them how much you care. From their favourite chocolate, facemasks, snacks and a book, sometimes the little things can go a long way! I usually pick up my baskets from shops like TK Max or even card shops, and you can get them pretty cheap!
I am personally obsessed with candles, and I think they are a great gift at any time of the year. My personal favourite brand is, of course, Yankee, but there are lots of cheaper alternatives out there; As it is Easter, opt for some sweet smells such as strawberries or anything chocolate related. You can actually find some beautiful soy candles on the By Imogen Rose website!
As I said above, gifts don’t need to be expensive but maybe more thoughtful instead, and there are tonnes of different ideas out there. Do you bother with gifts at this time of year? Let me know in the comments below!
