Living For Loungewear*

Like many people during this weird time, I have been living in loungewear, wearing no make-up and just enjoying not having to squeeze into a pair of jeans. I only recently treated myself to some loungewear, and now my wardrobe is filled with these staple pieces. I wake up, put loungewear on, walk the dog in loungewear, chill out in loungewear. This is the only type of clothing I have really indulged in during lockdown.

For me, this type of clothing keeps me comfortable, I feel good in it, and let’s face it; what more do you need at this time? However, it can hard to try and find a good place to buy it from due to the various options online and in-store.

When Femme Luxe reached out to me seeing if I wanted to review their loungewear collection, I was more than happy to oblige, since all I am doing at the moment is living in loungewear.

I had the option to pick out a couple of outfits to choose from, so as I wear a size 16, I was happy that there were, in fact, loungewear collections in that size. I opted for the Boxy Cropped Hoddie Cuffed Joggers Loungewear Set in both Stone & Khaki.

Firstly, the delivery was exceptionally quick and arrived the next day, which is rare at the moment! The clothes were packaged really well & I couldn’t wait to try them on!

I want to start by saying I never wear anything cropped, and always had a thing against it since I am on the larger size. However, there is just something about this set which makes me feel so comfortable and confident. The hoodie has been created to be a little oversized, so there is plenty of room for those with a larger chest like myself. It is nice to find something that fits so well and isn’t restricting, as I find that can be a problem with many loungewear sets.

Femme Luxe seems to be bang on trend with all of their loungewear collection, especially as they have so many different types ready to suit any body shape and season. There choice of colours in their collection is amazing too, I actually went out of my comfort zone a little, as you will almost always see me in black, but I love the off-white colour of the stone set, as well as light coloured khaki.
For those looking for a decent loungewear set, that isn’t going to cost you an arm and a leg; I would 100% recommend Femme Luxe. The quality is actually really good, the products wash really well too, which I personally think is important, as I know certain things can go a little ‘bobbly’ once it has been through the washing machine. It is definitely somewhere I would shop from again, and I will be checking a lot of there other ranges.
