I still can’t quite believe that 2018 is coming to end, and it has been a whirlwind of a year. The whole year didn’t start off very good at all with my anxiety being through the roof and feeling completely hopeless. However, it did end up being surprisingly good after my boyfriend and I purchased our first home. However, my mood has been all over the place for the last month or so, and I’m not sure why. So that is why I thought I would put together this post and share some of the things I would like to achieve in the forthcoming year.
Make some money from my blog
Since starting my blog in July, I have been looking at some of the ways I can gain profit from it, and have spoken with a few businesses about potential collaborations. I give them my info and they have said they will send me something to review and then I hear nothing – I suppose that is just part of it? However, I have been lucky enough to work with one brand on a sponsored post and that was a great experience.
I love writing my blog as it is an outlet for my thoughts, but it would be great to make a little bit of extra money from it next year!
This might be wishful thinking, but I would LOVE to get engaged next year (HINT HINT). To be honest, I don’t think my boyfriend even reads my blog, but here’s to hoping. I have been with my boyfriend for five and a half years now, so hurry up, okay?
Lose four stone
I have been on a diet for as long as I can remember, and in 2017 I lost 4-stone which is mad! However, this year I haven’t done too well and have gained back a stone. So in 2019, I am hoping that I will finally lose the weight I want and get healthy! I know it will be tough, but this is something I really need to do for my health and for my confidence.
Decorate our home
Our house is only about 10-years-old, but there are some little things which really annoy me like the brown carpets. We know this isn’t going to be our forever home, but I would love to do some decorating just to make it look a little nice. I would like to start with the bedroom, bathroom, lounge then kitchen; the house is completely liveable, but I think it could look a whole lot nicer.
Save some money
I am completely terrible with money and end up living from month to month on my pay with no savings. As I am an adult now, I need to start saving some money back. My boyfriend and I have decided that next year, we are going to save as much as possible so that we can either go away somewhere or buy something we need.
This blog post might seem a little cliche, but I never set myself any goals, but I think this is definitely something I should be doing so that I stay motivated!
